In addition to projectile points, axes, and celts, Archaic and Woodland sites produce a variety of tools. These include knives and preforms, hafted scrapers made from broken points and knives, and what are commonly referred to as drills. Many drills are worn out or exhausted knife blades that possibly were used to drill holes or were simply discarded as used up.
